Recently I commissioned some new headshots. These are not them, you can see one of the headshots from that session in my bio.
No, I recreated some headshots that have caught my attention on the internet. I styled, shot and edited the my headshots inspired by the originals.
1 – I saw Goldie Williams’ mugshot from 1898 in a post by @WhoresofYore. Goldie (Meg Murphy) was a working girl arrested for vagrancy in Nebraska, USA.
2 – In the TV show Arrested Development, the character Dr Tobias Fünke decides to pursue a career in acting. I play tennis and act so this felt aligned.
3 – Buster Keaton is a diva whose physicality in silent films I enjoy. His films (the ones without blackface…) make me laugh and I think his headshot here is chic.
4 – Another banger from Dr Tobias Fünke. This, and the first one, is one of 4 headshots we see on screen.
